For dance and stage schools

Dance school software built around the parents who book.

With ClassOps a parent books ballet, tap and street for all their children in one go, signs a waiver with health notes for each child, and pays by card. You set each weekly class up once and only touch it when a day is different.

Sound familiar?

Where the current setup lets you down

  • One family, five messages

A parent with children in three different classes books each one separately, then emails the office to check it all went through.

  • Forms still missing in September

New starters turn up without a signed form, and whoever is on the door has to decide whether a child can dance tonight.

  • Cover means editing every week

A cover teacher or a smaller class for one evening means hunting through weeks of sessions and changing them by hand.

How ClassOps fits

Built around how dance schools actually run

Example timetable

  • 09:00Baby Ballet (3 to 4)Waitlist open12 / 12
  • 09:45Tap Beginners8 / 10
  • 10:30Street Dance Juniors18 / 18
  • 11:30Contemporary Seniors9 / 14
  • 12:30Musical Theatre15 / 16
  • Siblings booked together

One parent books all their children in one go, so a family with three dancers is not three separate trips through the app.

  • A waiver for every child

Each child has their own waiver with health notes, signed by the parent in the app. A child cannot be booked in until theirs is signed.

  • Weekly classes set up once

Each class is a blueprint. If a cover teacher takes Thursday's tap, or you cap one session lower, you override that day only.

  • Holiday workshops and summer schools

Run holiday camps that parents book a day at a time or as a bundle, from the same app they use in term.

  • Waitlists for the popular classes

Every class shows places taken out of places available. When a child drops out, the next on the waitlist gets the space automatically.

  • Fees paid in your own app

Card payments run through Stripe in an app carrying your school's name. Monthly fees can run as a membership that renews automatically.

Nova City Centre moved from Glofox. Live at two sites since 1 August 2026.

Nova City Centre runs kids classes, open sessions and memberships across two sites on ClassOps. Family booking and one waiver per child are part of the same system it runs on, and they are the parts a dance school leans on most.

Questions

What dance schools ask us

Can parents book for more than one child?
Yes. One parent books several children in one go, and each child has their own waiver and health notes. There is no need to repeat the booking for each sibling.
Can we run term blocks?
Each weekly class is set up once as a blueprint, so it stays on the timetable week after week without being rebuilt. If one week is different, you change the capacity or teacher for that day only. How you charge for a term is worth talking through on the call.
Where do we keep children's medical information?
Health notes sit on each child's waiver, which the parent signs in the app before the first class. Booking is blocked until it is signed, and waivers export as PDF for your insurer.
Can we run holiday workshops and summer schools?
Yes. Holiday camps can be booked per day or as a bundle, so a family can take two days or the whole week.
How do our current families move across?
Your current members are imported and each account holder claims their account from an email to their own inbox. You can run ClassOps alongside your old system for up to 30 days before switching anything off.
